A. Services can be provided on site at your location, or we can manage your account remotely. It depends on your business and the needs of your business. Most important is that the specific accounting needs of your business are met and an going line of communication is established between the accounting function and your company's management team.
Q. Will you work with our existing accounting software program/ Can you recommend a business software package suitable for our needs?
A. Yes, we have experience with a wide variety of the most commonly used accounting software including QuickBooks, Peachtree, MAS90 and MfgPRO among others. In order for us to maintain our efficiency, we are continually keeping up to date on the most recent software and technology so that we can provide the very best services and advice, including technical support and problem solving.
Q. Are you a C.P.A. firm?
A. We are not a CPA firm, we specialize in providing our clients with accounting systems, procedures, and day-to-day operations. We perform the "nuts-and-bolts" of putting together an accounting department, establishing policy and procedures, and managing the daily accounting operations. When it is necessary for our clients to have their financial statements audited, or to have corporate income tax work done, we will act as a liaison between the client and the CPA firm. We do not provide audit or corporate income tax services.
Q. How much do your services cost?
A. Although there is consistency in general accounting between most organizations, businesses have unique characteristics and organizations have their own management styles. These aspects influence the level of outsourcing required. It is necessary to evaluate your business in order to provide a realistic quote. We have found through experience that for small to mid-sized businesses our services are typically less expensive than full-time staff for performing the accounting function due to our specialization.
